Sarah is a Student Intern in the Marriage and Family Therapy Master of Arts program at National University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia State University.

Sarah brings a culturally sensitive and collaborative approach to therapy. Coming from a South Asian background, she is fluent in Urdu/Hindi and English, and welcomes clients who feel more comfortable speaking in their native language.

Sarah is passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment where clients feel safe exploring the root causes of challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. She also has an interest in supporting individuals navigating ADHD and neurodivergence-related experiences.

Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Systemic Therapy to help clients develop practical tools, gain deeper insight, and move toward meaningful change. Sarah believes therapy works best as a collaborative process, where each client’s unique experiences and goals guide the work.

Sarah works with adults, adolescents, and parents seeking support for their children. Her goal is to help clients feel more empowered, hopeful, and better equipped to navigate life’s stressors.

Before pursuing her graduate training, Sarah spent over a decade working in mental health hospitals as a Mental Health Technician, gaining valuable experience supporting individuals through complex mental health challenges.

Outside of the therapy room, Sarah enjoys reading, creating art, exploring vintage shops around the DFW area, and traveling.

Sarah offers low-fee sessions for individuals, couples, and families at $50. As a student intern under supervision, she is committed to making therapy accessible while creating a warm and supportive space where clients feel understood and encouraged. Sarah strives to help clients gain new perspectives, develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges, and move toward healing, growth, and greater emotional well-being.
