Jazzlynn Paulson is a Student Intern in the Marriage and Family Therapy Master’s program at Abilene Christian University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University and is also Prepare/Enrich Certified, bringing specialized training and support to couples seeking to strengthen and enrich their relationships.

Jazzlynn brings a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to therapy. She is passionate about helping individuals, couples, families, children ages 7 and older, and young adults navigate life’s challenges while building healthier relationships and stronger emotional well-being.

Her therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy (CBFT), helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to create meaningful and lasting change. She also incorporates Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) principles when working with children and adolescents, helping them develop emotional regulation, healthy coping skills, and positive relationship patterns.

Jazzlynn has experience supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, emotional regulation difficulties, anger management challenges, and social and communication skill deficits. She is especially passionate about working with dating, engaged, and married couples to strengthen communication, deepen connection, and develop healthy relationship skills. Through her work in community mental health, she has also partnered closely with parents through nurturing parenting programs to support children experiencing mental health challenges.

As a supervised student intern, Jazzlynn is committed to making therapy accessible and creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. She strives to provide culturally responsive and affirming care, helping individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds feel empowered to grow and create meaningful change.

Outside of the therapy room, Jazzlynn is a former collegiate soccer player who competed in Canada at the NCAA level and continues to enjoy the sport recreationally. When she is not on the field, she can often be found playing pickleball, hiking, lifting weights, or exploring her creativity through arts and crafts.

Jazzlynn offers low-fee sessions for individuals at $50 and couples or families at $60. As a student intern under supervision, she is dedicated to providing compassionate, accessible care while helping clients develop the tools, confidence, and insight needed to strengthen relationships, overcome challenges, and move toward greater emotional well-being.
